Common Questions

Will you try to change the deal my advisor negotiated?

No. We respect that your advisor has already structured the business terms. Our role is to document what's been agreed to and protect you legally. If we spot issues, we'll discuss them with you and your advisor first.

How quickly can you turn around documents?

LOI reviews typically within 24-48 hours. Purchase agreements drafted within 5-7 business days. We understand deal momentum and work within your timeline.

Do you work with both buyers and sellers?

Yes, but never on the same transaction. We represent either the buyer or seller in any given transaction, depending on which side you're on.

What if the other side already has an attorney?

That's completely normal. We work collaboratively with counsel representing the other party to ensure the transaction closes smoothly while protecting your interests.

How do you handle deals with real estate components?

We coordinate with real estate attorneys when needed. For simple lease assignments or real estate included in the deal, we handle it. For complex real estate transactions, we work with specialized counsel.

What happens if the transaction doesn't close?

You're only billed for work completed. If the transaction terminates early, we prorate the fee based on work completed. With retainer arrangements, you only pay for hours worked.
